At our recent Annual General Meeting held on 3 August 2014, those present stated that the general feeling of members was that the Committee were not being seen to be doing anything to ensure the viability of the Club and that communication with members is non-existent.

With this in mind, the Committee would like to reassure the members that we are, indeed, working very hard at trying to reduce overheads and encourage more use of the Club but take on board that we should be sharing what we are doing with our members on a more regular basis.

In order to address this, it is our intention to communicate with members on a more frequent basis. Information to be shared with members will be posted on the Club Noticeboard and also on our website.

Please be assured that the Committee will be doing everything in its power to ensure that Locharbriggs and District Social Club survives the current economic climate and decline we are experiencing.
